Accidentally Wolf

Struggling to get over what the vampire councilman did to her, FBI Division Chief and Chicago wolf Alpha Seraphine Thomas dives into her job to cope. She’s making more headway on getting her office trained—and other offices—helping Simone with corruption in their community she was blind to, and solving a stack of cases that aren’t hers.
And calling it a “stack” is seriously downplaying it.
The plan to get all the area’s shifters at the same gathering and become allies, instead of smaller groups always handling things alone, comes together but not without issues. Overall, it was worth fighting for the idea and what’s best for the community, even if she’s terrified to finally stand before her pack after killing Engle and sending bad wolves off to the council.
In other words, there’s too much going on with adopting little brothers and a new house, getting an instant family with the Dorcuses… Who wouldn’t need a short vacation? But do the problems seem to follow her from home, or are paranormals everywhere so messed up?

A few months after the mayhem in Vegas, FBI Division Chief Seraphine Thomas is still juggling too much… And adding more onto her shoulders. However, there has been significant traction on making things better for paranormals in the country.
And with work going well, it’s time she finally handle her personal life a bit. Things blow up after stumbling through all the problems over the past several months, and it leaves Sera to reevaluate her life and the path she’s on. There’s always too much wanted from her and too many ways to be pulled.
But maybe the answer is to start enjoying new and interesting instead of fighting that it doesn’t fit into what she knows?
The club is opening, and while Simone handled most of it, thrilled things are going well and jobs for the community it provides, Sera is happy at the subterfuge it creates to protect her and the ones she loves. Siren’s Kiss is open and thriving, booked through the holidays and providing tons of jobs. The new training facility is built and has stacks of applications from paranormals who want to help keep people safe. A normal woman would take a moment and simply enjoy what her hard work has accomplished, bask in the achievement.
Seraphine Thomas is far from a normal woman and doesn’t know the meaning of “relax” when there’s more work to be done. Meeting more Alphas at the club opening, she learned that the danger for paranormals is worse than she had thought.

But progress causes upset, and most blame Sera as the cause instead of realizing the problems were always there.

The answer to the first is layered, the repercussions of it no one can fully foresee. The second answer is probably a given considering how kickass Sera is. Though she can’t do it alone and the one who comes to help wasn’t who most would think.
Especially because it’s not a simple rescue. At. All.
Months have passed when she returns home, and only her training with the FBI and going undercover saves her from too much crashing down on her at once. Oh yeah, and she’s still dying. They don’t know how she’s still alive when her own body was eating itself to survive.
The road to recovery will be difficult, but she has help, and she does the best she can, especially when betrayal hits her hard from a place she hoped it wouldn’t.
Thankfully all that work she put into building a solid foundation for herself pays off because the paranormals of Chicago will need to pull together or everything they built could be lost.

Sera Thomas has more than the FBI in her life now and nothing reminds her of that more than almost losing the man she loves. Sometimes the focus has to be on her personal life and the pack or she could lose all she’s built and treasures.
And she’s not about to allow that.
Which means working things out with Brian while he travels and learns what he needs to. It’s going to take work getting him acclimated to the pack and introducing him to the supe world as a wolf, not a human who visits. But she’s willing to fight for their love if he is, and that’s a huge step for her.
To her surprise, she also makes emotional progress to overcome her abusive upbringing. Everything’s a delicate dance though, as there are also the dominance fights that are coming up for several of her packs… And a huge problem with one of them.

At least everyone’s happy to celebrate Topher’s first Christmas and surviving another year. The full moon falls on the holiday—also Sera’s birthday—and massive festivities are planned.

Growing Alpha

Division Chief Seraphine Thomas knows that progress isn’t made without sacrifices. Their side has lost people, and the cost to her own life is sometimes too high.
But now that the political climate for supes shifts widely back the wrong way, everyone is scrambling to secure the protections supes desperately need. It’s simply impossible to play a fair game when the other side cheats.
Unfortunately, that’s not the only thing weighing on her, and she’s being pulled in too many directions at once. Something the new division chief of the regular office tries to take advantage of constantly while lying he’s responsible for her work.
Plus, she’s having trouble settling with the bomber case she recently worked. There are too many similarities between her and the bomber and that pulls her back into her past in a way she knows she can’t ignore.
At least she’s taking some time off to attend the next APA event and putting her needs first by driving there. Visiting Vegas a second time couldn’t possibly be as crazy as the first time, right?

Division Chief Seraphine Thomas is tired of the men in her world making her life so much more difficult. From Brian getting promoted and bringing Murray into her life to Murray treating her like he’s her boss and she has to play along to set him up because of what Director Galvin wants. Seriously, she’s about to just beat all the men in the world if they don’t stop with the unnecessary drama. And apparently, Alena’s over it too.

While she can’t change a lot, Sera never stops trying to be the best version of herself and is working on loads she can make better. Her drive and pushing through the bad inspires the supes who need her and see her as the hope we all need most days.

Especially when there will always be monsters who live among us. Someone is killing in Chicago, and it’s a weird case unlike the FBI has seen. Handling a murder investigation shouldn’t be the easy part of someone’s life, right?

Division Chief Seraphine Thomas’s life is giving her heartburn… And supes don’t really get heartburn.
Most would think her life would calm down after Murray was gone and the supe-hating president was out of office, but things are never that simple. Plus, the messes left by both situations are somehow on her to clean up.
And given she never gets a day off when people throw wrenches in her life—knowingly or unknowingly—it makes her life almost cruel at times. Between that and the sleep she needs as a new wolf and isn’t getting… Heartburn.
